I was born and raised in Newmarket, where real estate wasn’t just a career path, it was part of our family’s DNA. From a young age, I found myself immersed in the rhythm of open houses, showings, and client meetings, often tagging along with my father, a dedicated realtor who has since retired. But the roots run even deeper. My grandmother proudly served the community as a realtor for over 40 years, and before her, my great-grandparents owned one of Newmarket’s very first brokerages in the 1950s. Real estate has truly been a legacy passed through four generations, one I feel honoured to carry forward.
Interestingly, I didn’t always envision myself following this path. I grew up a competitive horseback rider, and after high school, I pursued a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Guelph. The unique program allowed me to bring my horse and board it on campus in Kemptville, blending academic studies with hands-on experience in pasture and facility management. That agricultural knowledge has proven invaluable in rural real estate transactions, giving me a unique edge in helping clients navigate country properties and farms.
But as much as I loved the equine world, I realized it wouldn’t support the lifestyle I aspired to—and I also knew the traditional 9-to-5 wasn’t my calling. In October 2014, I earned my real estate license and officially began my journey, working alongside my father. Over the past 11 years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of guiding clients through all kinds of transactions, rural properties, farms, condos, residential homes, and commercial spaces. While I cherish every client experience, I have a particular passion for helping first-time buyers and families make meaningful moves.
In 2023, my husband and I made the leap from Sutton to Collingwood with our two boys and we haven’t looked back since. We’ve fallen in love with the community, the lifestyle, and the people. After running my business independently for several years, I felt the call to collaborate and grow within a supportive team. I’m beyond excited to have joined The Kearns Group and Royal LePage Signature, and I look forward to building deep, local connections as I help families settle into the beautiful South Georgian Bay region.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at the hockey arena cheering on my boys, or enjoying quiet moments at home. We live for the game, and NHL or NFL is almost always playing on our TV. I proudly cheer for the Leafs and Patriots! I also love a good book, energizing workouts, beach days, and of course, getting back in the saddle for a ride.
